A Garfield Heights Craftsman with a sound 1916 floor plan that just needed the kitchen brought up to a 2025 cooking life. No walls moved — every gain came from layout, light, and material.

Challenges
- Owners wanted no structural changes
- Original 8 ft ceilings — uppers had to feel light
- Existing breakfast nook had to stay
Solutions
- Walnut uppers floated 4" off the wall, integral LED below
- Painted lowers in deep clay to ground the room
- Custom banquette in the existing nook, same walnut
